In Training Mode, go to Green Greens. Go to the place where the blocks fall, and stand in the center. Wait until you have a nice little alcove formed, then make a ton of red or green shells appear. Jump. As soon as you hit those shells, the game will freeze. But there's more. The music keeps on playing, for one. And you get to hear a resounding thunk from the shells. From there, it seems useless. But here's possibly the strangest part...
Open the GameCube. The image will remain intact, but the music will start repeating itself. If you close it again and wait for 10 second or so, the music will go back to normal. Freaky.
I figured out the music part myself. The rest was from somewhere else.

I found out a glitch, I don't know if it works for SSBM, though, but I was playing Animal Crossing, took out the disc and put in the SSBM disc, but Animal Crossing was still running as if the disc was in there. Weird...

Ah, Animal crossing is a small game, so its able to load it into the ram... Its like the action replay, after you load your town take out Animal crossing and put it away. It'll work

Yeah, I did the same thing on Ness's stage where the cars run you over. I went into the center, where the cars come, started plopping out shells for no reason, jumped, and the game froze. O.o

heres a better one go on brimstar the one where the big monster hits the stage and makes it move around and try to hit shell's between any spot where it can just keep going back n forth but it cant fly away when you first do it try n get to go back and forth and the stage will rotate and the shells will glitch and the shells will either go threw the middle of the rock thing and itll stay still and not move for the rest of the match or it'll spin the level rediculasy fast.
